Position Description

Position Title:  Human Resources Manager
Reports to:  President
Positions Supervised:  N/A

Position Description:   The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and administering all activities of the Human Resources department and participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems at Target Resource Group, which is North America’s largest marketing consulting firm in the arts.

The Human Resources Manager works with department managers to ensure that the training needs of each department are met in a timely and satisfactorily manner.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in HR, Business or related program
  • A minimum of 10 years of HR Manager background
  • Full functional HR expertise, i.e. Employee Relations, Training, Performance Management, Benefits/Compensation
  • Excellent interpersonal communications
  • Exemplary leadership and management skills
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex administrative processes
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel information
  • Superior ability to develop rapport at all levels

Human Resource Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures that human resources needs are met in a timely manner at all times.
  2. Assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  3. Partners with management in developing and aligning HR strategy with overall business strategy.
  4. Develops policy, directs, coordinates and carries out human resources activities.
  5. Ensures HR policies are consistent with and support TRG’s mission.
  6. Recommends and oversees TRG’s benefits, compensation and performance appraisal programs.
  7. Advises management of risks associated with current business practices and recommends improvements by providing expertise to management.
  8. Proactively makes recommendations to improve HR operations and value added to business operations.
  9. Provides information, resources and assistance to employees on all HR-related matters, organization policies, procedures, etc
  10. Develops and implements effective recruiting strategies, interviewing techniques, and selection of candidates to ensure continuity and continued supply of high-quality employees for TRG.

Location:
Position is located in TRG’s Colorado Springs, Colorado, offices. 
Travel:
This position will require no travel.
