Position Title: Database Marketing Account Supervisor - Direct Response Group
Reports to: Director of Account Services
Positions Supervised: Account Executive
Position Description: The Database Marketing Account Supervisor is responsible for managing client service for a group of TRG's direct response database clients.
This role is responsible for coaching and counseling TRG clients on their direct marketing campaigns (direct mail, telemarketing, and email) to promote patron cultivation and retention. Daily responsibilities include: planning and supervision of production of database resources and analytics, development of segmentation strategies, response reporting measuring the success of campaigns.
The role also has management responsibilities and will oversee an account executive charged with playing a supporting role in day-to-day client management, as well as be responsible for budgeting and sales support. The Database Marketing Account Supervisor is supervised by TRG's Director of Account Services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficient in Excel and other database software, preferably Access, or a ticketing system; Additional training will be provided on Microsoft Excel and Access to obtain expert levels of proficiency.
- At least 4 to 5 years of experience in the following sectors: Arts Marketing or Arts Fundraising; Non-Profit Marketing; Direct Mail or database marketing;
- Bachelors Degree
- Candidates should be highly organized with a great attention to detail, ability to multi-task on several projects; strong communication skills and customer service knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of database clients: responsibilities include campaign counsel and planning, general customer service and maintenance of client contact.
- Project management of all client analytics: recommending appropriate tools for client campaigns, applying analysis, and monitoring effect of recommendations for client and TRG.
- Supervision of Account Executive.
- Direct Response group budgeting support.
- Direct Response group renewal and new business sales support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Location: Position is located in TRG's Woodland Park, Colorado, offices. Woodland Park is a suburb of Colorado Springs.
Travel: This position may require national travel once or twice per quarter in support of major client initiatives.
